Christian Dechsling

Christian Dechsling has extensive work experience in finance and project financing, particularly in the shipping and offshore industries. Christian has held various roles in different companies, including SSY - Simpson Spence Young as a Director of SSY Finance, Ness, Risan & Partners AS as the Head of Project Financing, and Arctic Securities ASA as a Partner in Corporate Finance and Project Finance Shipping & Offshore. Christian also worked as an Investment Manager at Lorentzens Skibs Management AS, Chairman of the Board at Scan Baltic Service AS, and in Project Finance at Pareto Project Finance AS. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Maritime Trainee at R.S. Platou Shipbrokers a.s., Sales role at Pareto Securities, and as a Clearing Assistant at Norwegian Future and Option Clearinghouse (NOS). Christian also completed an internship at Marsoft Inc.

Christian Dechsling pursued a Master of Science in Finance degree from BI Norwegian Business School, which they completed in 2005. In 2004, they attended the Norwegian School of Entrepreneurship for a brief period, where they focused on the field of study of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. In 2000, Christian completed a Grunnfag (preliminary course) in Private Law at the University of Oslo (UiO). In 1999, they studied Ex.Phil and Ex.Fac at the University of Oslo as well.
