Adam D. M.

Adam D. M. has a diverse work experience in various roles related to environmental health and safety. Adam D. started their career at the Native Village of Tanacross as an Environmental, Health & Safety Director. Adam D. then moved on to work at Dihthaad Global Services as a General Manager, managing Department of Defense contracts. Afterwards, they joined Teck Resources Limited as a Health & Safety Coordinator and Lead Medic. Adam D. later joined Sumitomo Metal Mining Pogo LLC, where they held roles such as Health & Safety Coordinator, Deputy Chief of the Pogo Mine Fire & Rescue, Senior Health & Safety Coordinator, and Fire Chief of the Pogo Mine Fire & Rescue. Adam D. then transitioned to Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC, serving as a Corporate EHS Project Manager, Corporate Safety Director, and Corporate Safety Program Manager. Currently, they are working at Simpson Strong-Tie as the Director of Global Environmental Health & Safety, overseeing the company's EHS policies and leading their dedication to environmental protection, employee safety, and community well-being.

Adam D. M. obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Grand Valley State University, completing their studies from 1994 to 1997. Adam D. also earned additional certifications, including a Certificate in Global Safety Management (GSM) from the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) and a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, both obtained in 2016.
