Galahad Dong has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Galahad began their career as a Data Entry Clerk at Sutter Health in 2001 before transitioning to the role of Infantry Platoon Sergeant in the US Army, where they served from 2003 to 2009. In 2008, they joined Bridgeport Financial, Inc. as an Operations Manager, overseeing service and support options, budget management, and staff coordination. From 2011 to 2012, Dong worked as a Director at Palmer Systems, Inc., responsible for financial management, forecasting, and staff development.

Dong's most recent and prominent experience is with Simpson Strong-Tie, where they held various positions. Galahad started as an Equity Plans Administrator in 2012, administering global employee stock plans and maintaining vendor relationships. Galahad then served as a Human Resource Analyst from 2013 to 2016, overseeing the Total Rewards program and consulting senior management. Galahad Dong obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/International Relations from UC San Diego from 2002 to 2008.
