Joe Doan

Joe Doan is a Tool Design Engineer at Simpson Strong-Tie since August 2016, specializing in designing progressive stamping dies and tooling for sheet metal and CFS products, leading technical discussions, and transitioning the department to 3D design in SolidWorks. Previous experience includes roles as an Operations Intern at Renaissance Food Group, a Manufacturing Lab Assistant at the University of the Pacific, and an Industrial Engineering Intern at Diamond Foods, where significant improvements in production efficiency and cost savings were achieved. Joe holds a Master of Science in Engineering Science with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, along with a minor in Applied Mathematics, all from the University of the Pacific.
