Ruben Rivadeneira

Ruben Rivadeneira has a strong background in sales and technical roles within the construction industry. Ruben started their career as an Engineering Assistant at Hans Wolf & Partner GmbH in 1995 before moving on to various sales positions. Ruben worked as an Asphalt Applications Sales Manager at BREM from 2001 to 2004, increasing sales in the pavement maintenance product line. From 2005 to 2007, they served as an Assistant Area Manager at Maccaferri, where they successfully developed the company's market in the Northwest Territory.

Rivadeneira then joined Hilti as a Field Engineer from 2007 to 2011, providing technical support and consulting services to sales teams and customers. Ruben later became a Technical Director at OBRACIV, where they oversaw the operation of the Technical Department for a construction organization. In 2013, they joined Hilti again as a Senior Field Engineer, responsible for driving business in the Fastening & Protection industry in Southern California.

Since 2015, Rivadeneira has been working at Simpson Strong-Tie. Ruben started as a Technical Sales Representative and gradually advanced to roles such as Senior Technical Sales Representative and Regional Product Specialist, responsible for sales and strengthening relationships with distributors. Currently, they hold the position of Director of International Sales - Latin America, overseeing sales efforts in the region.

Throughout their career, Rivadeneira has demonstrated strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to drive sales growth in various roles within the construction industry.

Ruben Rivadeneira holds a High School Diploma from Colegio San Gabriel, which they earned from 1989 to 1995. Ruben then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering from Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas - ESPE, completing it from 1995 to 2001. In 2011 to 2013, Ruben earned two separate Master's degrees (MDI) in Construction Management and Real Estate Development, one from Universidad San Francisco de Quito and the other from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
