Lori Lesser

Lori Lesser is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and privacy/cybersecurity law. Currently serving as a Partner and Head of the IP Group at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP since March 1996, Lori also co-heads the Privacy/Cybersecurity Group. Additionally, Lori is a Board Member for the Partnership Fund for NYC, GreaterNY, and an Advisory Board Member for ChIPs, contributing to civic-oriented and technology-focused initiatives. Previous roles include Associate positions at Baker Botts and Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, as well as reporting positions at Reuters and Fortune. Lori holds a JD, cum laude, from Harvard Law School and an AB, magna cum laude, from Harvard University, where Lori was recognized as a Phi Beta Kappa in Economics.
