Mark has been with SIMPSON for over 23 years and is an integral member of the team and Consolidated Board.

Mark is a highly experienced Operations Director with practical experience at all levels of the construction industry having started his career as a Joiner. Mark quickly progressed his career via commercial, design and project management delivery roles in various sectors. His role includes leading the Construction teams and developing excellent client relationship skills and commercial awareness which are used to bring multi-disciplined teams together to achieve high quality results, on time, within budget in a safe working environment.

Marks passions lies within undertaking Heritage projects having worked on both phases of Durham Cathedral and is known within the Industry for his passion and drive for maintaining and improving heritage buildings for future use. Mark has a clear understanding of the unique nature of these types of projects and their requirements in terms of procurement.

He is also known for his particular skill in the delivery of heritage projects, and has a clear understanding of the unique nature of these types of projects and their requirements in terms of procurement. Mark understands the vital importance of clear communication in establishing what is happening on-site from all perspectives, and he has the people skills to communicate and work effectively across a diverse project network.
