Vaibhav Karve

Vaibhav Karve is a Senior Data Scientist Engineer 2 at SimSpace Corporation since May 2021. Previously, Vaibhav spent six years at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, contributing as a mentor at the Illinois Geometry Lab and mentoring undergraduate research initiatives. Additional roles included Graduate Teaching Assistant positions across various mathematics courses, such as Computational Mathematics and Differential Equations, along with significant research endeavors characterized by notable projects in 2-satisfiability and traffic pattern analysis. Vaibhav's earlier experiences comprise internships at the University of Ottawa and IISER, where research focused on mathematical modeling in biological and algebraic contexts. Vaibhav holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an integrated BS-MS from IISER Kolkata.
