Simula Research Laboratory
Håkon Stensland is a Senior Research Scientist and Project Manager for the Unified PCIe I/O project at Simula Research Laboratory, where work focuses on user-driven research-based innovation funded by the Norwegian Research Council. Additionally, Håkon serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Oslo, supervising PhD and MSc students and teaching courses in the Department of Informatics. Previous experience includes managing the iAD lab at the University of Oslo, PhD studies in the MPG-group, and roles in research assistance and seminar leadership at the University of Oslo. Håkon Stensland holds a Ph.D. in Networks and Distributed Systems and a Master's Degree in System Development and Communication Systems, both from the University of Oslo.
Simula Research Laboratory
Simula Research Laboratory's main objective is to create knowledge about fundamental scientific challenges that are of genuine value for society. Important research with long-term impact in the fields of networks and distributed systems, scientific computing and software engineering constitutes the basis of Simula. The strong focus on basic research is combined with both teaching of postgraduate students and development of commercial applications.
