Ilhan Yildirim

Ilhan Yildirim is an experienced professional in the field of mechanical and aerospace engineering, currently serving as the R&D and Innovation Programs Manager at SIMULARGE Global since November 2025. Previously, Ilhan Yildirim held positions at Siemens Gamesa as an Advisory Engineer and Ambient Conditioning Engineer from September 2019 to September 2025. Prior experience includes serving as Lead Project Engineer at Bias Mühendislik Ltd.Şti., and Lead Design Engineer in Thermal Systems Design at GE Aviation from July 2012 to October 2017. Ilhan Yildirim also led teams focused on rotor-stator heat transfer and combustor cooling. Earlier career accomplishments include work as a Mechanical Engineer at TMC Mechanical and as a Researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology, where the research focused on vortex flows. Ilhan Yildirim holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology and advanced degrees in Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.
