Belen Rivera serves as Sinai Health System’s Vice President, Revenue Cycle. The Vice President of Revenue Cycle supports and promotes Sinai Health System’s vision and mission. Belen is a highly committed healthcare executive with 20 years of extensive experience in revenue cycle

management, strategic planning, program management, audits and investigations, staff development, continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and organizational design. She values the importance of collaboration with partners in providing clarity in a complex business environment to facilitate growth in productivity, market standing, and profitability. A driven and dynamic leader who assumes a hybrid approach to the patient‐centered revenue cycle.

Most recently, she served as the Director of Revenue Integrity and Governmental Receivables for The University of Chicago Medicine, where she was considered a subject matter expert and a key member of various committees, process improvement initiatives throughout departments, corporate compliance, as well as endless collaborations to explore revenue enhancement opportunities.
