Christopher D. Sprowl

President, Sinai Medical Group & Ambulatory Enterprise at Sinai Chicago

Dr. Sprowl, serves as Sinai Medical Group/Ambulatory Enterprise President. Dr. Sprowl provides executive level leadership and comprehensive oversight of the medical group and physician enterprise (employed, contracted, and independent providers) across the ambulatory/community, acute and emergent, and post-acute care settings. Dr. Sprowl’s role is geared toward primary/specialty care and ambulatory enterprise strategy, system integration, strategic program and clinical service line development, physician recruitment and medical staff development, physician engagement and alignment, community/referral network relationship management and healthy growth, and medical group performance optimization.

Dr. Sprowl prides himself in demonstrating a servant leadership style that is conducive to building relationships with both provider and administrative teams to drive quality outcomes and advancing the health and wellbeing of the community.

Dr. Sprowl joins us from Community Health Programs of the Berkshires, however has also held progressive executive leadership positions at SSM Health, MaineHealth, PeaceHealth, and Integrated Physician Network. Dr. Sprowl graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from State University of New York at Buffalo, Master of Science in Biophysics from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and Doctor of Medicine from State University of New York at Buffalo, and served his Family Medicine residency at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. He has a Masters degree of Medical Management from the Marshall School of Business/University of Southern California and numerous certifications.
