Daniel Berger is an attending gastroenterologist and director of endoscopy at Sinai Health System since February 2021, with prior experience as an attending gastroenterologist at Advanced GI, LLC from September 2019 to February 2021. Daniel completed a gastroenterology/hepatology fellowship and an internal medicine residency at Rush University Medical Center between July 2013 and June 2019. Early career experience includes a role as a cardiometabolic clinical sciences & strategies intern at Takeda Pharmaceuticals in 2010 and as a clinical research assistant coordinator/medical assistant at Chicago Heart Institute in 2007. Daniel earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2013, following a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2009.
