Sameer Shah

President, Mount Sinai Hospital at Sinai Chicago

Sameer serves as the President for Mount Sinai Hospital Medical Center and provides executive leadership throughout the hospital plus continued system level oversight over a diverse portfolio of professional, ancillary, support services within inpatient and ambulatory settings.

Sameer is an innovative and transformational healthcare executive adept at providing enterprise-wide leadership over all facets of care delivery. Known for positively affecting cultural change while ensuring performance excellence across strategy and policy development, care quality, finance, and talent management. He is a strong proponent of deploying Lean Six Sigma principals to drive efficiency. In addition to strategy and operational direction, he devotes intense focus to scaling Sinai Chicago’s service and care offerings in order to better serve our community and grow the system’s revenue generation potential. Sameer has expertise in change management, strategic planning and execution, and organizational turnarounds.

Prior to his current role, Sameer served as the System Vice President of Clinical and Professional Services following a successful run as System Director of Pharmacy & Respiratory Services for Sinai Chicago. Sameer is an industry thought leader with deep relationships across academia, professional organizations, and healthcare institutions.
