Dennys Barros

Dennys Barros has a diverse work experience in various roles related to quality assurance and testing.

Dennys started their career as an intern at Diario de Pernambuco and later at Scriptcase PHP, where they gained practical experience in the field.

Dennys then joined CIn/Motorola, initially as a QA Intern, and later as a QA Test Engineer and Software Localization Engineer. During this time, they were responsible for integrating localized strings into Motorola apps and platform builds, triaging and fixing localization issues, and analyzing Android code to assist linguists. Dennys also evaluated, created, and executed test plans for Motorola products and trained newcomers in processes and tools.

Dennys then moved to Liferay, where they worked as a QA Test Engineer, focusing on reviewing and testing user stories, creating and categorizing test cases, managing and executing test plans, and automating test cases using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber. Dennys collaborated closely with team members from different departments to improve quality throughout the development process and worked with international QA members to enhance quality processes across the company. Dennys was later promoted to the role of QA Team Lead, where they managed the allocation of team members on product teams, acted as a technical focal point, and supported the progress and development of team members.
