Brian Hockett

Brian Hockett has extensive work experience in the medical device industry. Brian currently holds the position of Vice President, Quality and Regulatory at SiNAPTIC Technologies since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Product Development and Regulatory Manager at Ortho Solutions Group Ltd from March 2022 to March 2023.

Before Ortho Solutions Group Ltd, Brian worked at RQM+ from September 2020 to March 2022 as a Principal Engineer and from February 2018 to September 2020 as a Project Engineer.

From January 2016 to February 2018, Brian served as the Director of Product Development at NextStep Extremities. Prior to that, they were the Director of Engineering - Medina at Tornier from September 2013 to December 2015.

Brian started their career at Orthohelix in January 2010 where they held the roles of Product Development Manager from February 2012 to September 2013 and Senior Development Engineer from January 2010 to February 2012.

Before Orthohelix, Brian worked at Theken Spine as an Engineer - Cervical from January 2006 to December 2009. Brian began their career as an Engineering Co-op at DePuy Orthopaedics in 2003.

Brian Hockett's education history begins with their high school education at Centerville High School from 1997 to 2001. After completing high school, they furthered their education at Case Western Reserve University from 2001 to 2005. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Brian Hockett has earned certifications in the field of medical device auditing. Brian obtained the ASQ Certified Medical Device Auditor certification from ASQ - World Headquarters in July 2020. Brian holds this certification from the same institution for the second time.
