Sarah Renaut has a diverse work experience in environmental and maritime fields. Sarah is currently working as an Environmental Project Manager at SINAY since October 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Maritime Scientific Observer for SINAY from April 2018 to October 2021. Sarah also has experience as a Seal Care Intern at Sealcentre Pieterburen from January 2017 to May 2017. Additionally, they have completed internships at Murdoch University Cetacean Research Unit as part of their MSc program in 2016 and at UMR 7266 Littoral Environnement & Sociétés (LIENSs) as part of their MSc and BSc programs in 2015 and 2014 respectively.

Sarah Renaut completed their Bachelor's Degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences at La Rochelle Université from 2011 to 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) with a major in Marine Ecosystems Management at Université du Littoral Côte d'Opale, specializing in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography.
