Benjamin Exstrom, CISSP, has extensive work experience in information technology and security. Benjamin currently holds the position of Vice President of Information Technology at Sinceri Senior Living. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Technology Services, Solutions Architect, and Governance and Security Strategy at GOBHI, where they focused on improving healthcare services for rural Oregonians. Benjamin also worked as a Senior IT Consultant at SMB Technologies, specializing in cloud migration, cost reduction, and process improvement. Benjamin served as an IT Consultant at Catlin Gabel School, supporting students and teachers in the use of technology for educational purposes. Benjamin held the position of IT Director at the Oregon State University North Willamette Research and Extension Center, where they developed a secure infrastructure and managed network architecture. Benjamin started their career as an IS Technician at News Register Publishing, optimizing systems and ensuring network security.

Benjamin Exstrom, CISSP, holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in International Business Management from the Portland State University - School of Business, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Health and Human Performance at Oregon State University from 1997 to 2006. In addition to their academic achievements, Benjamin also possesses several certifications, including "Python for Data Science" from IBM, which they obtained in August 2019, and the CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification from (ISC)², which they achieved in April 2017.
