Ian Phillips

Ian Phillips currently serves as a Newscast Director at Sinclair Broadcast Group, a position held since March 2023, where responsibilities include directing live newscasts and sports productions using the Ross Overdrive System, in addition to roles as a replay operator and photographer during sporting events. Prior to this, Ian held the title of Master Control Operator at Sinclair Broadcast Group from August 2021 to December 2022. Ian's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from West Liberty University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Washington & Jefferson College, as well as an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Eastern Gateway Community College. Ian graduated from Steubenville High School in May 2019.
