Scott Markland

Scott Markland is currently the SVP of Student Development at Sinclair Community College. Scott has been in this position since December of 2008. Prior to that, they were the Assistant Dean of Students at the University of Dayton from September 1999 to December 2008. Before their time at the University of Dayton, they were the Director of Student Life for the Western College Program at Miami University from July 1995 to September 1999.

Scott Markland has a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Ohio University and a Master’s Degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Wright State University. Scott is also certified from the Innovation Engineering Institute in Innovation Engineering Blue Belt.
