Lester Vrtiak is an experienced Operations Manager at Big Apple Performing Arts, where they oversee operations for NYCGMC and YPC. They also hold the role of Director of Artist Engagement at Sing for Hope, managing media, programs, and the Sing for Hope Pianos project. With a background in music education and community engagement, they have worked in various roles such as Coordinator of Education & Community Engagement at the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and Music Teacher at St. Peter's Academy. Lester Vrtiak holds a Bachelor's of Music in Music Theory and Composition from Montclair State University.

Sing for Hope offer healing arts programmes through research-based creative performances, workshops, and curated cultural experiences that promote wellness, connection, and respite in hospitals, vaccination centers, and long-term care facilities. They provide programmes for refugee children and families.
