Richard Hewett

Richard Hewett serves as Vice President Legal (Aircraft Finance and Engineering) at Singapore Airlines since October 2016, providing strategic advice and legal counsel on various aviation-related matters, including aircraft transactions, engineering issues, and airline procurement. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Manager Legal and Manager Legal within the same domain at Singapore Airlines, as well as positions at Stephenson Harwood LLP and Norton Rose Australia, where Richard handled aviation finance transactions and financing for high-profile clients. Richard began a legal career at Arnold Bloch Leibler and the Supreme Court of Victoria, and holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Melbourne, along with a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia.
