Timothy Ouyang has over two decades of diverse experience in the aviation and media industries. Currently serving as General Manager for Singapore Airlines in Bangladesh since November 2011, Timothy is responsible for driving top-line growth across passenger and cargo sales, marketing, customer services, operations, and finance. Previous roles include managerial positions overseeing sales and customer operations in Bali, as well as internal audit and revenue analysis functions, enhancing risk management and revenue optimization strategies. Before joining Singapore Airlines, Timothy was a business reporter/presenter at Channel NewsAsia, where reporting on significant financial news during the 2008 Global Financial Crisis was a highlight. Timothy holds multiple academic qualifications, including a Master's in Practicing Accounting and Bachelor's degrees in Politics & International Studies and Media Studies. Additionally, Timothy completed certificates in Digital Transformation from INSEAD and Hospitality Management from Cornell University.
