David Hoss

David Hoss has spent more than thirty years working in the field of education. Hoss joined Singapore American School in 1990 and was named a 2010 National Distinguished Principal by the National Association of Elementary School Principals. Prior to joining SAS, Hoss spent two years as the elementary principal of Fairplay Elementary School and Lake George Elementary School in Colorado. Before that Hoss taught elementary school for seven years in Colorado Springs, Colorado and Newcastle, Wyoming.

Hoss holds a specialist degree in administration from Denver University in Denver, Colorado. He also holds a master's degree in educational counseling from Chadron State University in Chadron, Nebraska, as well as a bachelor's degree in education from the University of South Dakota. He holds three Colorado professional certifications in educational administration, counseling, and teaching. Hoss also holds LEAD certification from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
