Ken Schunk is now in his 37th year as an educator, 27 of which have been at Singapore American School. Schunk joined SAS in 1988 as the counselor and school psychologist for preschool through eighth grade. He served in that capacity for five years and has been a deputy principal in the elementary division for the past 22 years. Prior to SAS, Schunk served as an elementary school psychologist in Littleton Colorado and the pre-k through twelfth grade psychologist and special services coordinator for the Escuela Campo Alegre school in Caracas, Venezuela.
Schunk holds a specialist degree in school administration from the University of South Carolina, a master's degree in school psychology from Stout University in Menominee Wisconsin, and a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Eau Claire University in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
