Dennis Tan

Dennis Tan serves as the Global Executive Director for Energy Transition at Surbana Jurong Group and has held various senior roles within the company since 2017. Currently, Dennis also serves as an EXCO Member for the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and holds multiple leadership positions within The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES), including Chairman of the Energy Technical Committee and Manufacturing Cluster. Previous experience includes leadership roles at JTC Corporation, the Ministry of Manpower, and Wolong Electric Group Co., Ltd. Educational pursuits include a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London, along with ongoing studies in Financial Markets at Yale University, Business Strategy at the Wharton School, and participation in courses at BTS Group Sweden and Civil Service College Singapore. Key projects overseen include major developments in the biomedical and chemical sectors, contributing to estate management initiatives on Jurong Island and Biopolis.
