Melody Hong

Melody Hong is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in economic development and strategic planning. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Planning, Research and Statistics at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) since October 2020, Melody has held various senior roles at the EDB, including Senior Vice President for Strategic Planning and Singapore Businesses. Additionally, Melody contributes as a Curator for Economy Building Programmes at the Civil Service College. Previous positions include Director (Economic) at the Strategy Group of the Prime Minister's Office and multiple leadership roles at EDB focusing on professional services and pharmaceuticals. Educational qualifications include a BA in Economics from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
