Professor Ivy Ng was appointed Group Chief Executive Officer of Singapore Health Services Pte Ltd (SingHealth) in January 2012. Prior to her appointment as SingHealth’s Chief, she was the Chief Executive Officer of KK Women's & Children's Hospital (KKH) from 2004 to 2012, and Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer of SingHealth from 2008 to 2012. She was KKH’s Chair of the Medical Board from 2003 to 2004 and Head of the Hospital’s Department of Paediatric Medicine from 2002 to 2003.

SingHealth is Singapore’s largest healthcare group and comprises Singapore General Hospital, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, 5 National Specialty Centres (Cancer, Eye, Neurosciences, Dental and Heart) and 9 primary health polyclinics.

She was conferred the Singapore Human Resource Institute Leading CEO Award 2008, the International Management Action Award 2010, and the Public Administration Medal (Gold) 2011. She is Chair of the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC) Health Endowment Fund and SNEC Health Research Endowment Fund, Honorary Director of Mercy Relief and member of the Boards of SingHealth Foundation, Eastern Health Alliance, Integrated Health Information Systems, Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University, the National Medical Research Council (NMRC) and the Biomedical Research Council (BMRC).

She holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Master of Medicine (Paediatrics) from the National University of Singapore. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP, Edinburgh), Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH, London) and Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS). She is Adjunct Professor, Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School Singapore and Clinical Professor, National University of Singapore.
