Joy Tan

Joy Tan is the Deputy Head of Commercial & Corporate Disputes Practice and the Joint Head of the Corporate Governance & Compliance Practice of Wong Partnership.

She is also a Partner in the Employment Practice. Her main areas of practice are banking, corporate and commercial litigation, and dispute resolution, particularly in shareholder disputes and energy-related disputes. She has represented corporations and shareholders in disputes relating to fraud, minority oppression, corporate transactions, and share valuations.

Joy is listed as a leading lawyer for Employment in Singapore by The Legal 500: Asia Pacific – The Guide to Asia’s Commercial Law Firms 2010/2011). She is also recognized for Corporate Governance work in Singapore by PLC Which Lawyer - Directors' Duties and Liabilities since 2006.

In addition to the Singapore Repertory Theatre, she currently serves as Vice Chairman of the ISCOS Board of Directors, Honorary Secretary of the Financial Women's Association (Singapore), and on the Fund-Raising Committee of Dover Park Hospice.
