Terence Ong

Terence Ong is a professional in the field of cyber security, currently serving as a Cyber Security Engineer at Singtel since May 2021, focusing on revolutionary advancements in the Security Operations Center (SOC). Prior to this role, Terence worked as an Operations Consultant at Ensign InfoSecurity from October 2015 to May 2021, where responsibilities included improving workflows, managing documents for internal auditing, creating documentation and playbooks for operational knowledge, and mentoring junior staff. Terence has expertise in monitoring traffic and analyzing security incidents, with proficiency in tools such as Splunk, Nitro, and QRadar. Terence holds a degree in Cyber Forensics and Computer Science from Murdoch University, completed between 2014 and 2015.
