Associate Professor Ludwig Tan is Dean of the School of Humanities and Behavioural Sciences.
He holds a PhD and MPhil in Linguistics from the University of Cambridge and a BA (First Class Honours) in Linguistics and English Language from Lancaster University. Prior to joining SUSS, he taught at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University.
He serves on the steering committee of the Speak Good English Movement and the executive committee of the Society for Italic Handwriting, UK.
