Syed Zahidul Islam has extensive work experience in human resources. Syed Zahidul began their career at Singer Bangladesh Ltd in 2019 as the General Manager-HR, where they were responsible for leading the P&C function and building a roadmap of priorities. Prior to this, they worked at Bata Bangladesh Ltd from 1998 to 2019, holding various roles such as General Manager-HR, Asst. General Manager-Head of HR Operations, Senior Manager-HR, Manager-Factory HR and Compensation & Benefits, Assistant Manager-Factory H.R., and Senior Officer-Executive-Senior Executive-HR. In these positions, Zahidul Islam gained experience in areas such as HR strategy, organizational structure design, HR budgeting, policy development, employee management, industrial relations, payroll, and liaison with government departments.
