Vanessa Castellanos

Vanessa Castellanos is a Quality Assurance Engineer II at Singer Vehicle Design since March 2023 and an SRS Instructor at UC San Diego Extended Studies since July 2022. Previously, experience includes roles such as Manufacturing Engineer at Innovative Micro Technology from June 2020 to May 2021, TRiO Peer Mentor and Instructor - EPIC at Cal Poly Corporation from April 2018 to June 2020, and Quality Intern at L3 Technologies for a brief period in 2018. Earlier in the career, Vanessa served as a Quality Inspector at Alltec Integrated Manufacturing from August 2014 to December 2017 and Technology Manager/Assistant Manager at San Luis Obispo Children's Museum from November 2013 to June 2014. Additionally, experience includes an internship as a Quality Engineer Intern at Northrop Grumman Corporation during the summer of 2012. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Manufacturing Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, completed in 2020.
