Patrick Tan, MD-PhD, is the Dean-designate of Duke-NUS Medical School in Singapore and has been a significant figure in its research strategy as a professor in the Cancer & Stem Cell Biology Programme since 2006. Currently serving as Senior Vice-Dean for Research, Patrick leads initiatives in precision medicine and artificial intelligence to enhance patient care. Recognized with multiple honors, including the Exemplary Leader Award and the President’s Science Award, Patrick has also held key roles in Singapore’s research landscape, including Executive Director of Precision Health Research Singapore. They earned a B.A. (summa cum laude) from Harvard University and an MD-PhD from Stanford University.
