Mauro Muraro

Mauro Muraro is a seasoned expert in single-cell sequencing and transcriptomics, currently serving as Co-founder and CEO of Single Cell Discoveries since June 2018, where the company offers comprehensive single-cell sequencing services including experimental planning and data analysis. Prior to this role, Mauro worked at the Hubrecht Institute from November 2012 to May 2018 as a Postdoctoral and PhD Researcher, focusing on single-cell transcriptomics techniques to explore organ development and diseases such as pancreatitis. Additional experience includes a visiting researcher position at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and various research internships, all contributing to a robust background in cellular and molecular biology. Mauro holds a PhD in single-cell transcriptomics from Utrecht University, alongside a Master's in Cell and Molecular Biology and a Bachelor's in Biochemistry from the University of Amsterdam.
