Elisabeth Haas-Karagiannidis

Elisabeth Haas-Karagiannidis has a diverse work experience in quality management and validation roles in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Elisabeth currently serves as the Director of Quality at Single Use Support GmbH, where they oversee operational quality assurance, product release, and regulatory compliance. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Quality Management & Validation at the same company, where they established and expanded the Quality Management & Validation department. Elisabeth also gained experience as a Manager of Qualification/Validation and Lead Compliance at Single Use Support GmbH.

Before joining Single Use Support GmbH, Elisabeth worked as a Quality & Regulatory Compliance Manager at BakerHicks, where they also served as Deputy Team Lead Compliance Austria and Consultant. Elisabeth further enriched their expertise as a Development QA Manager at Sandoz. Earlier in their career, they held the role of GMP Compliance Manager Manufacturing at Novartis, where they were responsible for ensuring GMP compliance in API and FDF manufacturing. Elisabeth also worked as a QA Compliance Specialist Analytics at Novartis.

Elisabeth's work experience also includes an internship in Quality Control and Analytics at Jungbunzlauer, where they gained experience in biotechnological process units and QC laboratories. Elisabeth also worked as a Master Student in Molecular Medicine at Max Perutz Labs Vienna and as a Student/Lab Assistant in Research at AFFiRiS AG.

Elisabeth Haas-Karagiannidis completed their education with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Molecular Biology/Molecular Medicine from the University of Vienna from 2007 to 2012. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2007, they pursued their Reife-und Diplomprüfung/Diploma Examination in Food Technology and Hygiene from HTL Hollabrunn. Elisabeth attended BG BRG Laa/Thaya from 1998 to 2002 and completed their primary education at VS Gaubitsch from 1994 to 1998.
