Athurva Gore

Athurva Gore has a wealth of work experience in the field of bioinformatics. Athurva began their career in 2008 as an Archives Programmer at C-SPAN. That same year they also began working as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC San Diego, where they later became a Postdoctoral Researcher. In 2014, Gore moved to Good Start Genetics, where they served as a Bioinformatics Scientist and then Senior Bioinformatics Scientist. Finally, in 2016, they joined Singlera Genomics Incorporated as an Associate Director of Bioinformatics, and was later promoted to Senior Manager of Bioinformatics.

Arthurva Gore received their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Purdue University in 2008, after studying there from 2004-2008. Athurva then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from UC San Diego, which they completed in 2013.
