Amit Asthana

Amit Asthana is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in supply chain management and business transformation. Currently serving as Associate Director of Supply Chain & Portfolio Performance at Optus since January 2019, Amit has led significant initiatives, including a successful AU$100M inventory reduction campaign. Prior roles include Business Transformation Manager at Fletcher Building, where Amit facilitated a business transformation program generating $25M in EBIT, and Management Consultant at GRA supply chain consultants, specializing in end-to-end supply chain strategies. Amit's engineering background includes positions at Visy Industries, Pyrotek, and Baxter Pharmaceuticals, emphasizing continuous improvement and Six Sigma methodologies. Amit holds an MBA from AGSM @ UNSW Business School and a Bachelor's in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from UNSW.
