Rhydian Thomas

Rhydian Thomas is a highly experienced Principal Engineer and Manager at Optus, leading a cross-functional team focused on the amaysim iOS and Android apps following amaysim's acquisition by Optus in February 2021. Previously, Rhydian held the position of Engineering Manager for mobile apps at amaysim and played significant roles in mobile app development for various leading companies, including BT, Nine, Qantas, Vodafone Australia, Macquarie University, ResMed, and Westfield. With expertise in cross-platform technologies like ReactNative and a strong foundation in iOS development, Rhydian has contributed to numerous successful project initiatives, including feature enhancements for major apps and integrations with various services. Rhydian holds a First Class Honours degree in Software Engineering and Management from Bournemouth University and has engaged in numerous technical training and conferences throughout the career.
