Carlos Pérez Parada has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Carlos began their career in the Spanish Army where they served as a Fusilier in the 1st King's Own Inmemorial Infantry Regiment. Carlos then moved on to various roles in the financial industry, including Head of Research at SAFEI, Managing Director at JPMorgan Chase & Co., and Managing Director at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management. Their responsibilities at Barclays included building and upgrading their brand and business in Western Europe. Later, they became the CEO of Andbank Wealth Management, where they held multiple leadership positions within the Andbank Group. Currently, Carlos is the Managing Director at Singular Bank. Throughout their career, they have also served as a Member of the International Investment Advisory Committee at the World Health Organization.
Carlos Pérez Parada received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from IE Business School in 1984-1985. Carlos also earned a B.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from Universidad CEU San Pablo between 1978 and 1983. In addition, they obtained a Graduate Degree in Market Research from Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca in 1981-1982. Carlos further pursued education and acquired an Advanced Portfolio Management and Hedging certification from the International Center for Monetary and Banking Studies (ICMB) in Geneva, Switzerland in 1994. Carlos also attended London Business School for Business Strategy in the International Environment, although the duration is not specified. Carlos received additional certifications, namely, a General Representative qualification from the Financial Conduct Authority in July 1999, and the title of Chartered Economist from the Colegio de Economistas de Madrid in 1983.
