Cristina Plaza Escribano

Cristina Plaza Escribano has a diverse and extensive work experience. Cristina started their career as a Consultant at Indra in 1998, where they focused on functional analysis, design, and development of information systems for utilities companies. Later on, they joined HayGroup (currently Korn Ferry) in 2001 as a Consultant, managing projects in various areas of human resources such as organization, compensation, talent development, and performance management. Cristina worked with clients internationally and had projects in different countries, including Austria, Germany, and El Salvador. In 2007, they joined Self Bank as a Human Resources Manager, and eventually became the Head of Human Resources and Corporate Social Responsibility. In this role, they were responsible for policy management, talent development, and cross-business project management. Finally, in 2019, Cristina Plaza Escribano joined Singular Bank as the Head of People Development and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Cristina Plaza Escribano holds a degree in Agronomical Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, which they obtained from 1990 to 1998. In 2015, they attended h2i institute and completed a course in Business Design & Lean Startup. During the same year, they also studied Innovation Processes & Service Design at h2i institute. In 2011, Cristina pursued the LiderA Directivas program offered by the Women and Employment Ministry of the Regional Government of Madrid. From 2018 to 2019, they participated in the Executive Program for Women in Top Management at Esade.
