Bandele Jeffrey-Coker has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Bandele started their career at Ohmeda in Boulder, Colorado, as a Mechanical Engineer in 1986. Bandele then moved on to Pfizer Valleylab, where they worked as a Project Engineer from 1991 to 1993. In 1993, they co-founded and co-owned Rapid Prototyping Corporation in Longmont, Colorado until 1994. From 1994 to 1997, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Rand McNally & Company in Nashville, Tennessee. Bandele then joined Siemens Medical, Pelton & Crane in Charlotte, North Carolina, as a Mechanical Engineer from 1997 to 1998. In 1998, they became the Engineering Manager at Meso Scale Diagnostics in Gaithersburg, Maryland, a role they held until 2006. Bandele then joined Digene Corporation and later QIAGEN as an Associate Director and Senior Director, respectively, from 2006 to 2008. Most recently, they have been serving as the VP of Engineering at Singular Genomics since 2020.

Bandele Jeffrey-Coker obtained a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Fluid Mechanics and Thermal Sciences from The George Washington University's School of Engineering and Applies Science.
