Surya Adhikari

Surya Adhikari is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in the field of synthetic organic and bioorganic chemistry. Currently serving as a Staff Scientist at Singular Genomics since August 2019, Surya has held various positions including Senior Scientist and Scientist II. Prior experience includes postdoctoral researcher roles at Indiana University Bloomington and Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, where Surya focused on the synthesis of complex molecules, nucleotide chemistry, and photochemistry of DNA. Surya's educational background includes a PhD in Synthetic Organic and Bioorganic Chemistry from The University of Toledo and a Master of Science in Organic Chemistry from Tribhuvan University. Additional roles in academia include teaching positions at multiple institutions in Nepal, where foundational chemistry courses were delivered.
