Alix Rübsaam

Alix Rübsaam is the Director of Curated and Research Content at Singularity University. Alix is also a former business director and executive producer of the György Ligeti Academy, and an actor and performer with Mobile Arts / de Parade.

Rübsaam has always been passionate about using their skills and knowledge to positively impact as many people as possible. Alix first got involved with Singularity University as a participant in their Graduate Studies Program in 2015, where they learned about exponential technologies, artificial intelligence, robotics, networks and computing systems, policy, law and ethics, entrepreneurship, design thinking, corporate innovation, data science, future forecasting, and governance.

After their time as a participant, Rübsaam joined Singularity University as the Director of Curated and Research Content. In this role, they are responsible for curating and creating content that helps people understand the implications of emerging technologies and how they can be used to solve some of the world’s biggest challenges.

Alix Rübsaam earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cultural Analysis from the University of Amsterdam - Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis. Alix also holds a Master’s Degree in Cultural Analysis from the University of Amsterdam, and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Culture from the same school. Alix completed their high school education at Barlaeus Gymnasium, where they studied Culture and Society.

Alix Rübsaam reports to Erica Ritchey, Head of Content & Expert Operations. They are on a team with Sarah Edgren - Senior Manager, Organizational Content, Venus Ranieri - Senior Manager, Content Marketing, and Maryka Trent Baraka - Director, Enterprise Content.
