Dieter de Smet

Dieter De Smet, MD, MSc, is an accomplished healthcare professional specializing in Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, currently serving as the Laboratory Director at AZ Delta Roeselare - Menen and Sint-Andriesziekenhuis since September 2011 and January 2019, respectively. In addition to these roles, Dieter holds a position as a medical coordinator within the medical management team at AZ Delta and has extensive expertise in Clinical Chemistry and Molecular Biology. Previously involved with Knack Volleybal Roeselare as a board member and served as a representative for the Forum Assistenten Klinische Biologie. Dieter's medical training was completed at UZ Brussel, followed by distinguished academic achievements, including a Master in Medicine from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and a Master in Healthcare Management & Policy from KU Leuven.
