Alan Fernandez

Alan Fernandez is a Project Engineer II at Sintavia since November 2023, with prior experience as a Plant Engineer at CEMEX from June 2022 to November 2023, where Alan led critical path CapEx projects across various U.S. operations. Alan's foundational engineering experience includes serving as a Research Intern at the University of Miami, where participation in NSF-supported research focused on Bio-Inspired Genetically Engineered Self-Healing for Cementitious Materials in collaboration with the Johnson and Johnson 3D Printing Center of Excellence. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Miami, earned in May 2022, and attended Belen Jesuit Preparatory School from 2011 to 2018.
