Marianne Kjendseth Wiik is an experienced researcher specializing in life cycle assessments (LCA) of buildings, environmental product declarations (EPD), and the design and operation of zero emission buildings and neighborhoods. Currently employed at SINTEF Community since June 2015, Marianne has contributed significantly to projects focused on zero emission construction and smart cities. Alongside this role, Marianne serves as a censor and supervisor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), providing oversight for various courses in life cycle assessment and sustainable architecture. Previous positions include project leader for the Construction City Cluster and research assistant roles at NTNU and SINTEF, as well as involvement with Greenpeace in fundraising and team leadership. Marianne holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Architecture from NTNU and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Lincoln.
