Orwig Speltdoorn

Orwig Speltdoorn currently serves as the Divisional CEO of Nonwoven/Geosynthetics at Sioen Industries since May 2015, overseeing the production of synthetic geotextiles for the civil engineering market within a leading global producer of technical textiles. Prior experience includes the role of Managing Director at Bonar, where Orwig managed operations across multiple locations in Europe and the USA. Additional leadership roles include Managing Director at Nelca NV, Commercial Director of Technical Textiles at Libeltex NV, and Managing Director at Valiprint NV. Orwig was also an EMT Member and Managing Director at Low & Bonar PLC during an extensive career spanning several decades in the technical textiles industry. Academic credentials include a Master in Applied Economics from Ghent University and executive education at London Business School and Vlerick Business School.
