Andres Prieto-Moreno

Andres Prieto-Moreno has over twenty years of experience in the technology industry. Andres began their career in 1997 when they co-founded Microbotica S.L., a company offering educational robotic workshops in Spain. In 1999, they moved to Pulsar Technologies, S.A., where they served as Labs Engineering Manager. In 2001, they became a Teacher at the Computer Science Department of Universidad Pontifica de Salamanca. In 2002, they joined Ifara Tecnologias, where they served as Engineering Director. In 2008, Ifara Tecnologias was acquired by FLIR Systems, and Prieto-Moreno was appointed Engineering Director of FLIR Networked Systems. In 2012, they were promoted to Director of VIPE Systems Engineering at FLIR Systems. In 2017, they were promoted to Director of Automotive Engineering - OEM & Emerging at FLIR Systems. From 2019 to 2021, they managed Data Collection & Annotation for Neural Networks at FLIR Systems. In 2021, they joined SiOnyx as Director of Camera Systems.

Andres Prieto-Moreno obtained a Bachelor's degree in Telecomunication Engineering from ETSI Telecomunicacion UPM between 1991 and 1999. In 2008 and 2009, they completed a Master in Computer Science from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, specializing in Computer Science.
