Martin Pralle

VP Business Development and Advanced Programs at SiOnyx

Martin Pralle began their career in 1993 as a Materials Engineer at Xerox. In 1995 they moved to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a Graduate Research Assistant. In 2000 they joined Ion Optics as a Senior Research Engineer, where they were a principle member of a research team that developed photonic crystal enhanced MEMS infrared emitter technology. In 2004 they joined ICx Technologies as General Manager and VP of Engineering. Finally, in 2008 they joined SIONYX as VP of Business Development and Advanced Programs, where they were the new business development leader and technical principle investigator for a market pioneer in digital nightvision for commercial and defense. Martin led the successful award, development and transition to production of the IVAS digital nightvision camera module.

Martin Pralle received their PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2000. In 1999, they took part in a program at Northwestern University. Prior to that, they earned their BS in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University in 1993.
